Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis is common, often begin to be a problem during or soon after puberty and is suggested to be hormonal. Although hands and feet may be affected, excessive sweating from the axillae or armpits generally causes embarrassment, clothing stains and social limitations especially during warmer months. Such problems in the hands can be a huge embarrassment in business affairs whilst greeting clients, and excessive foot sweating in modern shoes quickly becomes unacceptable. Most people with hyperhidrosis have already tried dedicated antiperspirants with little benefit, or they may become  sensitive to their use. Botulinum offers an effective solution.
